Today, I had my car's tires rotated at Costco Wholesale in Lancaster. The Costco technician noticed tire wear which indicated that my tires needed alignment. Unfortunately, this is a service that Costco does not provide, and I really wanted to get it done sooner rather than later. On my way home I passed a Firestone on Orange St. in Lancaster. The shop was pretty busy, but I stopped and asked Shawn, a service writer, if they could fit me in. Shawn said they could do the alignment so long as I didn't mind waiting a bit. The shop has a clean and comfortable waiting area, so that was no problem. We drive this car a fair bit, and it has needed alignment several times. Shawn offered Firestone's lifetime alignment at a fair price, so that's what I went with. The work was completed sooner than expected. Shawn and Justin, the mechanic, showed me how my car's wheels had been aligned before and then after the adjustment. I have complete confidence in the quality of Justin's work, and Shawn blew me away with his superb customer service. The high-performance Firestone tires I run got discontinued and I was having difficulty finding a replacement. I called the actual firestone corporate office, and their customer service rep. Hunter was horrible and actually ended up hanging up on me because he didn’t have any new answers or new information to give to me. So frustrating! Fortunately, I called the W. Orange St., Firestone here in Lancaster and spoke to a woman named Melissa who was professional, thorough and quite frankly a breath of fresh air considering the poor customer service I got from corporate! She found my replacement(s) within a literal minute, and had them ordered and delivered to me within 3 to 4 business days. I will most definitely use Firestone again on Orange Street and recommend anyone else needing tire service or anything else that they offer the same thing. Melissa was wonderful and clearly has a great work ethic! They are fortunate to have her there!

Easily the worst experience I've ever had at any garage. I was charged $575 for an oil change and low beam replacement. 1 hour of labor for the lightbulb replacement was $363. Totally unacceptable and frankly I regret paying it and not just walking out. I'm now willing to go out of my way to discourage others from ever taking their cars their, only to be be bent over and forced to take it. When asked about the charge I was told, "The boss worked on it". I frankly don't care if Santa Claus worked on it, no one's time to change a couple of light bulbs are worth that amount of money. I can only imagine who else they're taking total advantage of who have no recourse.

Shawn at the desk was really nice and super helpful. He was clear and friendly. I took my car in for an alignment and to get a sticky caliper checked out. I paid $450 for the caliper repair and it wasn’t fixed when I left. The drive home and back in the next day felt off. My wheel was overheating. I took the car back in and they fixed the problem no charge. I had to take off work mid day to get my car in and drop it off. + points for Shawn’s customer service and the speed of the service. - points for the cost and then leaving with a car that wasn’t fixed. I have a 2015 Mazda 6 Grand Touring. I had just replaced lower control arms, tie rods, struts, and sway bar links in the front and brakes all the way around. They did a good job with the alignment given how it was when I was done working on it. I doubt I’ll go back to Firestone for anything short of an alignment. I got the lifetime alignment so I won’t have to pay to get it done on this car.

Look no further!! THIS LOCATION IS A FANTASTIC REPRESENTATION of what a FULL SERVICE automotive center ought be. I booked for tire replacements (all 4) and I was taken care of with what I would call "White Glove" service. Brian(front counter) assisted with excellent knowledge of matching tires for my VW.. They were done with my care in 45 mins flat. Robert, (Rob) is HANDS DOWN the most efficient & knowledgeable Tech I have ENCOUNTERED as of late. He was HONEST, QUICK AMD MOST IMPORTANTLY RECEPTIVE to what I wanted...I had an issue with my driver front valve stem leaking air the day after install.. I called after work & Shawn(front counter) was pleasantly accommodating..He told me to bring it by & they wuld look it over immediately.. Rob again was the "man with the plan..." THEY ALSO INSPECTED IT ON THE SPOT..I was out of there in 1 hour... Exhausted after work & encountering this level of CUSTOMER SERVICE is frankly rare & unparalleled in my personal experience when it concerns "Garages." I cannot thank them enough for their Top Level commitment to Quality, Honesty and a "Real World" approach to taking care of folks who need these types of Automotive Services.. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND
